 A casa dos Gatinhos
The 70,000 mē property 'Mounte da Gravita' is approx. 20 kms to the east of the bathing resort 'Vila Novelties de Milfontes' in the midst of the picturesque hills of the Alentejo. Here you can enjoy rest in an idyllic place with atmosphery and comfort.
The house testifies from the charm of the architectural style typical for the area in which it was restored, and adapts itself harmoniously between old olive, cork oak, fig and orange trees. Rest and relaxation is easy without industrial noise and pollution, a place where you can recover yourself. Only 7 kms away is a dammed river in which it is delightful to bath for adults and children.
The house is as much as possible constructed biologically. A renovated earthen house with 50 cm earthen walls gives a pleasant ambient temperature and coolness in summer. The house has a whole living space of approx. 55 mē and is split up in 4 rooms. In addition there is a 30 mē completely roofed terrace which is carried by 4 columns. She faces directly southeast so you can have breakfast in the morning sunshine. Furthermore you can find many shady places under old olive trees.
