Just 7km West of Aljezur lies unspoilt Monte Clerigo, a cozy romantic fishing village where the small beach cottages nestle right up to the sand. The beach is a long smooth expanse of sand which is perfect for sunbathers, swimmers, surfers and fisherman. It is a wonderful family beach as it is large and sandy with rock pools and is easily accessible. There are two excellent restaurants and several outdoor cafes.
